Aimie Parsons and Chloe Payne treated us to an evening full of fun, fine songs and lovely harmonies. The ‘Kernow cousins’ are one of the hardest working acts in the country and it showed with a performance that smooth without being slick, and full of heart and honest craft; lovely to have an acoustic bass in the house too. Mama, Why Don’t They Like Me – a song about bullying with the catchiest of choruses – was a highlight, as was ‘Leave The Light On’ with it’s gorgeous, circular melody.
