Christina Alden and Alex Patterson playing the guitar and fiddle

christina alden & alex patterson

This was another special evening at Hove House Concerts, when we were able to welcome two of the contemporary folk world’s outstanding musicians – Christina and Alex – who bought them not only an acoustic guitar, a banjo, fiddle and one of the loveliest Martin tenor guitars we’ve ever seen, but a wealth of stories and story-songs to feed the heart and nourish the soul. They’re great harmony singers too and managed to master that trick of seeming to be singing to each other, while also including the audience in a circle of sound. An evening full of charm and meaning which we won’t soon forget. Find out more from Christina Alden and Alex Patterson’s website.
