Christine Collister performs at Hove House Concerts

Christine Collister

We were delighted when Christine Collister managed to squeeze us into her current tour – only 10 years after we originally asked her – and the Manx-based singer songwriter did not disappoint. Much of the evening was taken up by Children of the Sea, a multimedia extravaganza featuring, still photographs, video, paintings and a superb original backing track which had Christine harmonising with many of the UK’s top acoustic artists (the ‘duet’ with Chris While was particularly memorable). Still plenty of time for some older stuff, a few joyful singalongs and the relaxed on-stage mastery which has always been a feature of her shows. Find out more from Christine Collister’s website.
